Overview
This development allowed Parkway Neurosciences and Spine Institute to expand their services for Orthopedic/Sports Medicine, MRI Diagnostic Imaging, Physical Therapy, Pain Management and Urgent Care. Waynesboro Construction provided pre-construction services during the design phase to develop an efficient, high performing structure for multiple tenants. Approximately 15,000 CY of unsuitable soils were removed during the excavation phase and replaced with imported structural fill. A 12” sanitary sewer was installed at a depth of 26’. The Diagnostic Imaging Suite contains a Phillips MRI scanner and a state of the art Fonar Upright MRI. The suite required two rooms of magnetic shielding as well as rigging of a 300,000 lb magnet. Solar gain was minimized through a special “frit” glass on the Eastern and Southern exposure. Interior finishes are accented with cherry millwork and trim and over 3,000 SY of vinyl wallcovering.
