Overview
Waynesboro Construction was brought into this project early to assist the design team and owner with the redevelopment of a an existing roller skating rink into a first class medical office building. The building is now fully occupied by Frederick Memorial Hospital. The unique development approach included the demolition/elimination of 10,000 SF of building area to allow for the required parking and ESD storm water management features. The walls of the pre-engineered metal building were stripped down and reframed with steel studs and faced with brick. The roof framing was reinforced, insulated and overlayed with a white TPO membrane for maximum energy efficiency.
