Maryland School for the Deaf

Frederick, MD

Overview

Representing the first major expansion of this 150 year old public school campus, the State of Maryland selected Waynesboro Construction to provide full scope construction contracting services for this very unique project. Because the students and facility are sensitive to vibration, the project required special construction methods and materials, including custom window systems, to attenuate exterior sources of sound and vibration. Specialized communication equipment and inneractive white boards were also incorporated into the facility.

Waynesboro Construction is a top-notch outfit. I’ve worked with other contractors who encounter problems and just sit on them, but Waynesboro addresses problems head-on and resolves them quickly. My project came in on time and within budget.
