Description
The complexity of hospital construction, with the specialized interior design, mechanical systems, and electrical systems, requires an experienced contractor. Waynesboro Construction has fulfilled that role for Waynesboro Hospital during recent renovations as well as throughout various new construction and renovation projects over the past 40 years. Because one story of the hospitals hospital’s addition would be located below grade, this project involved excavation into rock. We encountered areas of poor foundation-bearing conditions that required extensive jet grouting to underpin the adjacent structure to situate the new three-story addition.
