Description
After ten years of planning, a developer’s vision was transformed into reality in ten months in 1991, when Waynesboro Construction completed the first major ski resort to be built in the United States in over a decade. Six crews with more than 100 tradesmen participated in the construction of Whitetail Village, which comprises seven buildings interconnected by acres of parking and miles of utilities. Maintaining a fast-track schedule with sensitivity to the environmental issues of wetland mitigation presented a formidable challenge. Waynesboro Construction met that challenge with the completion of Whitetail Resort before the first snows of December.
