Details Renovation of Existing Dam & Spillway Location Smithsburg, Maryland Architect Whitman, Requardt & Associates Owner City of Hagerstown Description Construction of a new flood control spillway required coordination amongst the concrete crews and ready-mix supplier to achieve the angular shapes of the spillway. The project also required the fabrication and erection of steel bridges for access to the impoundment and measurement of water levels.
